Social Development

The Skills Development Centre is dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Métis people in their efforts to enhance their self-awareness, health and wellness, education and employment. Our collection of programs and services is a model based on First Nations traditions and orientation toward life. The Centre stresses the importance of balance and strives to create programs that address the social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive needs of each individual who visits us.

The Development Centre provides programs for people of all ages and is responsible for the oversight of the Band School, employment and professional development programs, and counseling and remediation. For more information please click here.
